Tom Barce Tom Barce brings over 26 years of advisory experience in directing and managing innovations across the spectrum of digital risk, especially in information governance, data privacy, electronic discovery and litigation support. Mr. Barce delivers strategic vision, consultative services and project management expertise, with extensive experience in helping corporations and law firms manage their data-driven risks and objectives. He has assisted clients across a wide range of industries in the U.S. and internationally with implementing information governance programs, addressing data breaches, acting as an expert witness, responding to complex e-discovery demands, selecting and implementing strategic technology; leveraging AI, machine learning and predictive analytics; evaluating and overseeing third-party service providers; and conducting large and complex data migrations from disparate systems. Adam Cain is an accomplished legal technology expert, with over two decades of experience. Kate Campbell is a member of the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity and Technology & Digital Business practice groups. She holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional/US (CIPP/US) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Kate’s practice focuses on advising clients in a wide array of matters related to cybersecurity and data privacy. She counsels clients on compliance with state, federal and international privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (EU) (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the New York Department of Financial Services Cybersecurity Regulation. Kate assists her clients with establishing data privacy programs, information security programs, information handling, incident response plans, and subsidiary information technology and security standards and policies. Her work also includes data breach prevention and data breach response and remediation. Kate also supports clients through litigation related to cybersecurity and data privacy.
Prior to joining Godfrey & Kahn, Kate practiced in the litigation departments of top firms in Washington D.C., Chicago, and Los Angeles. She has extensive experience in deceptive trade practice claims, the Lanham Act and general business-related litigation. During law school, Kate was the Executive Senior Editor of the Southern California Law Review. She was also a judicial extern for the Honorable Stephen Hillman of the US District Court, Central District of California.
Shane Delsman is the practice group leader of the Intellectual Property Group and a shareholder in the Litigation Practice Group of Godfrey & Kahn, S.C., with experience in litigating and prosecuting patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. He also regularly supports complex mergers and acquisitions involving intellectual property assets. Mr. Delsman is a leader in a number of highly respected intellectual property organizations, including the American Bar Association, the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association, and the International Trademark Association, and he also is a past president of the Wisconsin Intellectual Property Law Association. Mr. Delsman earned his J.D. and B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
Nathan Hammons is a clinical professor at Marquette University Law School and director of its Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic. The clinic, which Professor Hammons launched, operates as a law office that provides pro bono legal services to entrepreneurs and startups in southeastern Wisconsin. He is a member of Marquette University’s Innovation Council, and he has served as a mentor for or advisor to gener8tor, gBETA, Startup Milwaukee, BizStarts, and Marquette University’s Kohler Center for Entrepreneurship. He received his JD from Boston University School of Law, and he previously worked as an associate attorney at Sidley Austin’s Chicago office and as an associate general counsel for DePaul University.
Kathy Henrich is the CEO of the MKE Tech Hub Coalition, a non-profit organization with over 125 members with the mission of inclusively growing tech in the Milwaukee region to drive long term regional economic growth and create life changing opportunities for individuals. Kathy has a deep background in technology leadership, having led $500M+ business units within IBM in the areas of sales, partnerships, and marketing across multiple technology areas. In 2018, Kathy received her master’s degree in workforce and talent development from LSU, specifically focused on preparing the workforce for AI. She leveraged her degree at Accenture where she led projects to help clients transform their talent along with their technology.
Kathy works tirelessly to serve the Milwaukee community in her role as CEO where she has implemented multiple programs and partnerships to develop startups, build a diverse tech talent pipeline, attract tech businesses and individuals, and to connect the community. Specifically for AI, there is a collegiate internship program, an upskilling program, and a new AI Talent Community. Aviva Meridian Kaiser is Ethics Counsel at the State Bar of Wisconsin. Prior to joining the State Bar in 2013, she taught at the University of Wisconsin Law School for 25 years. She taught Professional Responsibilities, Ethical and Professional Considerations in Writing, Problem Solving, and Risk Management. From 1992 until 2002, she was the Director of the Legal Research and Writing Program. Aviva received her B.A. in Chinese from the University of Pittsburgh and her J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. She clerked for the Honorable Louis B. Garippo in People v. John Wayne Gacy and clerked for the Honorable Maurice Perlin in the Illinois Appellate Court. She practiced law in Chicago before beginning her full-time teaching career at IIT Chicago/Kent College of Law. Aviva is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, a Wisconsin Law Fellow, an American Bar Foundation Fellow, and a frequent speaker on matters of professional ethics.

Shantanu Singh is an Assistant General Counsel at Northwestern Mutual on the Digital & Enterprise Operations Team. Shantanu’s practice focuses on technology transactions, intellectual property, data rights and privacy, licensing, cybersecurity, risk mitigation and cloud infrastructure. Before joining Northwestern Mutual in 2014, Shantanu worked in in-house law departments in the financial services and in law enforcement.
Shantanu obtained his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2004, and his Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Biology in 1998 from Washington University in St. Louis. Outside of work, he enjoys metal detecting and travelling internationally with his wife and two kids.
Matthew Thomson is the director of cyber liability at M3 Insurance. In this role, he is responsible for sales support, market relations, training, and thought leadership within the cyber, media, and technology error and omissions (E&O) lines of coverage. In serving as a cyber security strategist and advisor, he helps clients mitigate cyber exposures through preventative controls and formal risk transfer mechanisms.
Matt has over 16 years as a cyber professional prior to his career at M3, beginning as a cyberspace operations officer in the Air Force, building and managing multiple cyber programs, and being a cyber consultant. He has diverse experience in incident response, cyber risk, compliance frameworks, and penetration testing – among other cyber related fields.

Jascha Walter is an Assistant General Counsel at Northwestern Mutual on the Digital & Enterprise Operations Team. Jascha’s practice focuses on technology transactions, intellectual property, data rights, licensing, privacy, cybersecurity, risk mitigation, and digital transformation. Before joining Northwestern Mutual in 2022, Jascha spent seven years as General Counsel for the North American operations of SoftwareONE, a software reseller and information technology solution provider based in Stans Switzerland, and fifteen years at the law firm DeWitt LLP, as a lawyer and partner in their intellectual property and business law practice groups.
Jascha obtained his law degree from Marquette University in 1996, and his Bachelors of Business Administration (Finance & Economics) from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater in 1996. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, as well as traveling, camping, kayaking, and cycling.
Zachary Willenbrink is the Assistant General Counsel for Privacy and Cyber Security with Rockwell Automation. Before that, he was a shareholder at Godfrey & Kahn on the firm’s litigation and technology teams. Zach is a certified information privacy manager and US privacy professional and also holds several cybersecurity certifications, including CompTIA’s Security+. He is an active member of the Sedona Conference, including as a member of its drafting group on ransomware payments, and is a former law clerk to Judge J.P. Stadtmueller of the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
