Data Privacy Legislation in Wisconsin

Presenter: Rep. Shannon Zimmerman

Representative Zimmerman will provide a brief explanation of his private sector background relevant to the technology industry. As with any proposed legislation, Representative Zimmerman will discuss why this bill is necessary. He will follow with a look at the various state level data privacy laws on the books. Finally, he will discuss the process that we undertook to get to our current proposal and what our next steps are for further legislative action.
