Medicaid Overview

Medicaid provides health coverage to hundreds of thousands of Wisconsinites, including eligible low-income adults, children, pregnant women, elderly adults and people with disabilities.  In Wisconsin, the program is funded jointly by the state and the federal government.

This program will provide a high-level view of eligibility requirements for elderly and disabled individuals needing assistance paying for long term care.
