Exploring the Body Scan

The Body Scan is one of the primary practices of Mindfulness. In this hour of education and practice, we will begin with the neuroscience behind the Body Scan and review the benefits of daily practice. Be prepared to start seated in a chair for powerpoints and mindful movement, with the option to transition to a more relaxed position lying on the floor or sitting in a chair for the 30 minute body scan practice at the end of the session.
