Competitive Intelligence Foundations Competitive Intelligence Foundations equips attorneys with an awareness of how competitive intelligence research can be utilized to attract new clients as well as maintain positive relationships with existing clients. Whether one's law firm contains a dedicated research team or has yet to establish one, this course will illustrate the degrees to which competitive intelligence research can identify opportunities to drive profitable business. The first part of this course will detail the nature and aims of competitive intelligence research in the law firm. The second part of this course will explore how information can be transformed into actionable intelligence as well as provide an overview of commonly-used competitive intelligence resources. Ryan Rozanski is a Competitive Intelligence Research Specialist at Quarles & Brady LLP in Phoenix, Arizona. While earning his M.L.I.S., Ryan was a Law Library Fellow at the Daniel F. Cracchiolo Law Library at the University of Arizona. He obtained his J.D. from William & Mary Law School in 2017. Ryan was also admitted to the Pennsylvania State Bar in January 2018.
