The Basics

  • How to join a Zoom meeting or court event.
  • Equipment or devices needed for participation.
  • How to get your client up and running to join the court hearing.
  • Using and muting your camera and microphone.
  • Using the waiting room, Zoom chat, participant panel and breakout rooms.


  • How to harness the platform to fight for your client: tools for Effective Zoom Advocacy.
  • Submitting and presenting exhibits and demonstrative tools. 
  • Passively observing live court events on YouTube.
  • Useful links for Wisconsin courts information and additional Zoom training.

        Questions and answers with an interactive Zoom discussion if time permits.

Chuck Kahn provides mediation, arbitration and special master/referee services on the Zoom platform, operating as A Neutral View, LLC.  

Chuck served as circuit court judge in Milwaukee County from 1992 to 2013.  He was a member of the Wisconsin Courts CCAP Steering Committee, and served as Chair of the Technology Committee for the Milwaukee County judges.  Chuck has taught technology to judges statewide and has been a presenter and committee member for the MBA Annual Law and Technology Conference.  

Prior to the bench Chuck was a trial lawyer in private practice for 14 years and a public defender before that.
