The presenter will discuss the statutory duties of a GAL and why they matter, the GAL’s role in contested matters, and particular considerations for pro se petitioners.

Part III:  A Behind the Scenes Look at Serving as a Guardian
Presenter:  Ashley Lillesand-Leonhard

To conclude the seminar, this portion will focus on the tasks and duties of a Guardian, with an eye toward highlighting information that may assist a GAL in determining suitability of a proposed Guardian.
