Environmental issues are often encountered when Real Property attorneys are handling the transfer of real estate or in trust & estates matters that involve the management of real property. This presentation will be helpful to Real Property and Trust & Estate attorneys in understanding the basics of handling matters that involve pre-transactional environmental due diligence (Phase I ESAs) , if a property needs to be tested for the presence of environmental contamination (Phase II ESAs), or environmental compliance when a family business is transferred (Environmental Compliance Audits), and how to work more efficiently and effectively with environmental attorneys that may be working with Real Property attorneys and Trust & Estate attorneys on such matters.
