How to Effectively Leverage Appraisals in Real Estate

Presenters:

Adam Bazelon and Smitha Chintamaneni, von Briesen & Roper, s.c.
Larry Nicholson, MAI, The Nicholson Group LLC

This seminar will focus on how to effectively work with a real estate appraiser in both property tax assessment and eminent domain litigation.  We will discuss the “nuts and bolts” of these two substantive areas of law and then take a deeper dive into the strategies involved in litigating these types of claims.  In addition, we will be joined by an appraiser who has served as an expert witness in many cases that have involved the valuation of all types of properties and he will provide insight into the litigation process.
